          This was a Christmas gift for my grandaughter and I put it together for her just prior to Christmas. It was very time consuming, probably about 4 hrs. Over all it is very sturdy and the finish appears to be good. I did use it as a catch all desk until I could get it to my grandaughter and it left her without a scratch.
