      We bought this vanity stool to make it much easier to remove shoes by the side entry door. The size is perfect for its purpose, and is a comfortable height. It is on a wood floor, but really doesn't slide that much. Love the beaded design around it-it was perfectly done, too. We have four cats, so the seat will probably need replacing(easy to do on this one) in the near future, because the color is so light it will show stains in no time. We believe this vanity stool to be well worth the price.

              My husband and I ordered this for our master bathroom. We didn't need anything fancy or expensive, so this stool looked like it would fit the bill. The picture gives the impression that there are nail heads around the edge of the stool. I already knew from reading another review that this was just carved wood. Ours arrived and while it had the carved detail, it is definitely not painted as the picture illustrates.More importantly, one of the legs does not screw in straight, so the stool is just slightly wobbly. And, if I look closely, I can see that the leg is crooked.[...].I considered returning the item, but frankly it's not worth the hassel. I'll think twice about ordering from this site again.
